An ultra-premium, all-malt Cream Ale at 5% alc./vol. Mid-gold colour with a fresh, bread-like malt nose enhanced by fruity hop aromatics. Flavours of fresh malt, subtle sweetness, floral hops and pleasant ale fruitiness all combine to produce a Canadian classic Cream Ale. A moderate hop bitterness and creamy mouthfeel round off the flavour experience. Food pairing suggestions include chowders, sushi, teriyakis, salmon and tuna dishes, corn-on-the-cob, fruit cakes, and brick and colby cheeses.

If your only experience with a Cream Ale is Sleeman's, then you need to trey this beer. Not a great beer, but far better than Sleeman's Cream Ale. This beer pours a gold colour with a thin white head. The aroma is bready malts and some citrusy hops. The flavour is slightly sweet with a malty backbone.

Bottle, fill dated 3 weeks previous. Decants a crystal clear sparkling dark honey-gold ale with a nice frothy 2 finger cap that lasts and laces well. Aroma of bread, caramel and succulent fruits. Flavor is rounded and has a distinct soft sweet bready character, hops balance but maltyness and the fruity esters (peach-apricot-citrus) stand out. Goes to a thirst quenching clean finish. Creamy mouth feel. A perfect example of a very misinterpreted and underappreciated style. Magnotta scores again on accurate style interpretation with this one. Good quencher pleasant to drink.

Not bad. Better than I rememeber. It's fruity, and somewhat tasty, yet weak and watery too, esp. out of the glass. My numbers are for out of the bottle(except for appearnace of course). Out of the glass, it's 5's all around. Still, out of the bottle, as it warms it loses it's flavour Better than Catfish, but I still have yet to find a Cream Ale that floats my boat.

True North Cream Ale is golden coloured (almost amber), has a good amount of carbonation, and a head that doesn't last long. I can taste hints of raspberries, with a slight bitter aftertaste. I prefer this cream ale to Sleeman's.
