#4176 Rock Art Limited Access from Morrisville, VT, United States
Score: 3.4 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 6 | Overall 7 |
Can that pours an unfiltered golden colour with a slight amber hue. The off-white head has decent stay with some frothy lacing. Aromas of oranges with some skunky notes and sweet malts. The mouthfeel is dry enough, but not too the max. Bitter tasting with the hops and citrus character. A decent Double IPA, but not as good as the Long Trail Vermont Double IPA I just had before.

#4175 Long Trail Brewing Vermont Double IPA from Bridgewater Corners, VT, United States
Score: 3.7 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Can that pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy off-white head, good stay and some dirty, thin-creamy lacing. Sweet fruity citrus hop aromas with mostly oranges over the caramel malts. The taste shows sweetness as well. Like the yeast is sugary. All with the oranges and other sweet tropical fruits. Like mangoes. Hints of pineapples. Some decent grassy hops in the finish, but does not drag. Mild warming alcohol, as well not lingering. A very good NEIPA. Juicy and well-balanced.

#4174 Forked River Interstellar IPA from London, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.7 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
Pours a very slight hazy bright golden colour with a white frothy head, decent retention and thick foamy lacing. Aromas of mild grass, hay and some spiciness. The taste shows nice bitterness and smooth dryness. Again, light grassiness, hints of grapes and what I would call, burnt hay (which is fine in here). A nice average IPA that is well-brewed.

#4173 Black Oak Love Fuzz from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 8 |
Can that pours a hazy amber-brown colour with a caramel highlight. The frothy beige head stays long and creates creamy-wavy lacing. Hoppy nose over the caramel malts and fruity notes. The taste is quite hoppy with bitterness, dryness and again, the caramel malts base and apples. This is quite a nice hoppier, higher-alcohol amber beer.

#4172 Beau's All Natural Good Time Session I.P.A. from VanKleek Hill, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.9 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
Can that pours a slight unfiltered light-golden colour with a frothy white head, decent stay and some soapy lacing. Fresh herbal hop aromas of grass and leaves, with some cilantro hints. The taste shows some nice bite with the grassy hops, but also some nice cereal notes in the background. The hops really linger a long time with bitterness. Like biting in the peel of citrus fruits. Well, Beau's probably wanted to create a 4% ABV. beer that felt like a 6% regular IPA and has succeeded.

#4171 Sons of Kent Brewing Zephyr Dry Hopped Sour from Chatham, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.3 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 6 | Overall 7 |
Pours a clean light-golden colour with a fizzy bubbly white small cap, low retention and lacing. Very nicely dry-hopped nose over light sour notes and hints of vanilla, caramel. The taste is sour but lightly dry in the quick finish. Mild tartiness on the tongue. Citrus refreshing notes. Gets a tad hazy at the last pour. If you like your sour beers to not linger, this is for you. The rest is well-brewed.

#4170 Woodhouse Light from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Score: 2.5 | Aroma 5 | Appearance 5 | Mouthfeel 5 | Flavor 5 | Overall 5 |
Can that pours a very light golden-yellow colour with a big frothy-fizzy white cap, decent stay and some light lace. Cereal grain malt nose with some yeasty sour hints. Honey is what comes to mind in the taste. The cereal notes are present as well, but much lighter. Reminds me of some of the low-alcohol (0.5% ABV.) beers, but with a higher content. Nothing offensive and more punch than I expected.

#4169 Gainsbourg White Stout from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.3 | Aroma 6 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Enjoyed at the brewpub. Golden amber colour with a warm cap and full lacing. Coffee grinded beans nose over mild malts. The taste also shows big coffee notes with light fruity malts in the finish with a nice dry end. A prominent coffee white stout beer with some decent amber base and hints of honey.

#4168 Devil's Purse South Channel Imperial British Stout from South Dennis, MA, United States
Score: 3.9 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 8 | Overall 9 |
Enjoyed on my trip to Maine, April 2018. Almost black colour creamy mocha coloured head with decent lace. Roasted malts nose, mild dark fruits, cocoa powder, molasses and hints of coffee. Burnt malt taste with good bitterness chocolate notes, molasses and a some dark fruits. A hopper imperial stout that still has lots going on and pretty rich all around.

#4167 Liquid Riot Easy Like Sunday Morning from Portland, ME, United States
Score: 3.8 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Enjoyed on our trip to Maine, April 2018. Dark brown colour, almost black, beige creamy nitro head, everlasting with good lace. Nice roasted malt aromas with chocolate notes and dark fruits, hints of coffee. The mouthfeel is creamy. Roasted malt flavours with some light sweetness from the maple syrup, but mostly the coffee that stays after the finish. Pretty good but wish the maple was stronger.
