#26 Samuel Adams Imperial Series Imperial Stout from Boston, MA, United States
Score: 3.7 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Bought this 4-pack of 12 fl oz from BevMo. Sam Adams does it again on this Stout! Pours a dark black with a brown head that disappears fast. The aroma is liquorice, some dark dry fruits, mild chocolate and coffee.

#25 Affligem Tripel from Opwijk, Vlaams Brabant, Belgium
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
It came in a nice 750ml corked bottle from BevMo! This Tripel poured a golden hazy yellow with a off-white, creamy head. The aroma was fruity and spicy. The taste was sweet with fruit and some yeast (maybe I should not have poured all the yeast out of the bottle). It's a good typical Tripel.

The beer poured a nice reddish-brown with a good tan head. The aroma was of roasted malt, caramel and fruit. I enjoyed this beer, I would drink it again without questions.

#23 Kern River Sequoia Red from Kernville, CA, United States
Score: 3.3 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 6 | Overall 6 |
I bought a growler of this from the Brewery. I let this sit over night in a cooler and had it the next night. This classic Amber Ale poured into my glass a nice rich copper color. The head was very small with light tan foam. A nice balances of malts with a blend of hops. With its distinctive copper color and caramel flavors, this beer tasted very fresh and very enjoyable.

Pick this one up at BevMo this past weekend. I was looking for something different and found this. The overall taste was pleasant, but okay. I've had better beer but I would try this one again.

#19 Samuel Adams Black Lager from Boston, MA, United States
Score: 3.7 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 7 |
Pours a nice dark black with a nice 1/4 inch tan head when poured slowly in to a chilled pint glass. The taste is of a stout but it has a much lighter feel to it and the lager had a nice sweet taste to it but not too sweet. Another good beer from Samuel Adams!

#18 Newcastle Werewolf Blood Red Ale from Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Score: 4.2 | Aroma 9 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 9 | Overall 8 |
I found this Newcastle ale this weekend. It was new to me. Smells of faint caramel and hops. Taste is smooth caramel malt and quite nutty. Mouth feel is smooth, rich, and medium bodied. Naturally blood red in color, this distinct tasting fall ale produces a combination of sweet berry overtones and a sudden bite of bitterness.
