Tall can from LCBO. Pours an incredible amount of foamy bubbly white head that really stays and leaves some big soapy lace behind. Has a pale yellowish golden appearance. Slightly excessive carbonation. Aromas of floral hops, grass, pine and some yeasty notes. Flavours are citrusy, piney, some Belgian yeast notes also at the forefront.

Thanks to metalchopz for gifting this bottle. Bottled on 2016-03-10. Pours an average size foamy bubbly tan head and has a murky amber, brownish coloured appearance. Decent sticky dirty lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas are earthy and resinous, toasted malts and hints vanilla. Flavours are woodsy, earthy, and resinous again, as well as some Brett yeast notes. Actually fairly boozy, aged for quite some time, giving it a little bit of sourness on the palate and subtle metallic tones. Would like to try again closer to the bottled date to compare.

Score: 3.8 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
Picked up a bottle at the Beverage Warehouse, Burlington, VT. Pours a massive frothing bubbly white head and has a slightly hazy golden appearance. Excessive carbonation. Big patchy lacing. Strong herbal aromas at the forefront, mostly the rosemary and thyme, with a little bit of grass and yeasty notes. Flavours are also herbal and grassy, some greens are apparent, the parsley in particular along with some of the more sour type citrus fruit. Crisp and dry mouthfeel. Pretty good!

Tall can from Broue Ha Ha, Gatineau. Pours a massive thick frothy off-white head and has a pale golden appearance. Excessive carbonation. Big soapy lace. Aromas of coriander, juniper, bready malts, nutmeg. Flavours are mostly dark fruit and citrus notes, some cloves and juniper comes in after a few sips, as well as coriander and orange zest. Has the slight aftertaste/finish of a gin, but just with much more bitterness. Not bad overall.

Score: 3.6 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 7 |
Tall can from LCBO. Pours a massive frothing off-white head, pretty thick also. Has a pale golden appearance with minimal carbonation. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of tropical and citrus fruits, floral and pine notes as well. Flavours are fruity and juicy, lots of tropical notes along with the citrus, same as in aroma. Creamy and slick mouthfeel and a little bit dry in the finish. Some mild bitterness as well but balances well with the sweetness.

#1826 Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout / Founders CBS from Grand Rapids, MI, United States
Score: 4.2 | Aroma 9 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 9 | Overall 8 |
355ml bottle from LCBO. Pours an average size but very thick and frothy tan head and has a deep dark brown appearance. Bubbly and patchy lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of dark roasted malt, coffee and chocolatey notes, hints of maple. Flavour a are sweet straight away followed by some coffee and chocolate notes, the maple is noticeable as well as some rye in the finish, giving it the barrel aged aspect. Has a little bit of a woodsy finish also, and is a little bit boozy but not offensive in the least. Somewhat of a syrupy mouthfeel, nice and warming as well. Slightly oily sensation on the palate. Goes down smoothly, making it a bit dangerous in the long run. Very good!

Got a 12 pack at the Beer Store. Pours a massive foamy white head and has clear straw coloured appearance. Big soapy lacing. Aromas of grainy malts, grassy and herbal hop notes. Flavours are sweet and grainy malts, a little bit of the grass and herbs again as in aroma. Dry mouthfeel. Nothing too crazy here, basic attributes of a lager making in easily drinkable and refreshing on a hot summer day but that's about it. But still much better than some macro type lagers.

#1824 Wellington Raked Over IPA from Guelph, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.9 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
Part of mix 4pack. Pours a fairly big and thick frothy off-white head and has a hazy orangey appearance with slightly excessive carbonation. Some thick dirty lacing. Aromas of tropical fruits, yeast and a bit cereal maly, oats. Flavours are fruity the pineapple and mango at the forefront, but the habanero peppers follow that up straight giving it quite a bit of a spicy finish. Also as a result, leaves a very nice warming mouthfeel, not too much heat, but warms on the way down for sure. After awhile, some orangey and yeasty notes are noticeable. Dry finish on the palate.
