#1781 R. J. Rockers Son of a Peach from Spartanburg, SC, United States
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Picked up in a mix and match while visiting Myrtle Beach a few months ago. The peach worked well with the wheat ale. Adds some sweet flavor and not too overwhelming. A refreshing summer beer.

#1780 Harpoon Camp Wannamango from Boston, MA, United States
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
This is good spring/summer seasonal. Has that typical Harpoon, northeast pale ale feel, with a decent amount of mango to balance out. Adds some sweet and tartness. A lot of the mango beers coming out are wheats. I think this works out better with a pale ale. Sampled a single to start, but may get a 6 of it one day.

#1779 Anchor Blood Orange Blonde from San Francisco, CA, United States
Score: 3 | Aroma 6 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 6 | Overall 6 |
On tap at Pinkie Masters, a historic bar in downtown Savannah. This could be the most bland and forgettable Anchor that I've sampled. Blondes are hit or miss for me, and this was a miss. The orange is very mild, which doesn't add much flavor. Aroma and feel are eh. I was hoping for better.

#1778 Anchor Mango Wheat from San Francisco, CA, United States
Score: 3.4 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Have sampled a few different mango wheats over the past few summers. I guess this would fall somewhere in the middle. Mango is on the milder side so doesn’t overwhelm with sweetness. Wheats are usually too bland for me. This adds a nice contrast. Has a hazy dark yellow appearance. An OK seasonal, but not really one I’d return to.

#1777 Due South Dry Hopped Series: Pale Ale (Simcoe) from Boynton Beach, FL, United States
Score: 3.9 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
This is about 5th one that I've sampled in the dry hopped series. They are starting to blend together. Still think I prefer the Citra or Mosaic the best. They all have that hazy darker yellow to light orange appearance. Only downside is that they all seem to have that over-carbonated, bubbly feel.

#1776 Southern Tier Pilsner from Jamestown, NY, United States
Score: 3.3 | Aroma 6 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
I kind of get the feeling of "It is what it is" with pilsners. They are hit or miss for me...some stand out that I will seek out again. This is borderline, or about average for the style. Medium malt content. Mild hop which gives a slight rusty flavor, along with the typical grain and grass. Got in the ST Overstacked Mixpack. Refreshing and good for the season.

#1775 Southern Tier 2X Oak'd IPA from Jamestown, NY, United States
Score: 4 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
Maple in this one makes it a tad too sweet, but overall good balance for the style. Oak and maple syrup add a contrast to the hoppy floral flavors. Could use a little more hops to offset. Has a light amber appearance. Solid brew and nice to try...just not what I'm looking for in this style.

#1774 Brewers' Tasting Room Bad Badger Porter from Saint Petersburg, FL, United States
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
On tap at the brewpub. They had a bunch of other local brewers stuff on tap, but wanted to support the location I was at. This wasn’t the best balance for a porter. Leans towards the sweet side....could use more hops. Ok feel, but texture could be a little creamier. Medium chocolate in the flavor...the rest is kind of bland.

#1773 Shiner Birthday Beer 108 - Cold Brew Coffee Ale from Shiner, TX, United States
Score: 3.4 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
About what I expected. Was hoping it would be a little thicker, or more like a porter/stout. I’d compare this to a medium or slightly darker brown ale. Denisty on the thin side. Flavors of caramel malt, coffee, light cinnamon. Could use a little more bitterness, but an OK seasonal.

#1772 Wiseacre Ananda IPA from Memphis, TN, United States
Score: 3 | Aroma 6 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 5 | Overall 6 |
These beers have been recently distributed here in Central FL. Saw it on sale at Total Wine & More, so was a little curious. Then saw it in clearance ...figured I’d try a couple of their singles for cheap (IPA and Pilsner). The flavor is there (though not that bold)...but the off-balance is what destroys this beer. May not have been that fresh which could have affected the rating somewhat. Though, I can’t really seeing this having much potential. We shall see how the pilsner is soon.
