#4176 Flora Hall Brewing from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 4.4 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 9 | Value 8 | Service 9 | Overall 9 |
Beautiful historical building restored to perfection. Very cozy with great smaller food plates which are amazing. It does get loud in there with the two levels when packed, but this adds to the atmosphere. This is really a great place to gather. And beers are solid.

#4175 Brothers Beer Bistro from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 4.1 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 8 | Value 8 | Service 9 | Overall 8 |
This newest bistro in Ottawa is a great place to get a Trappiste beer or just about any other awesome microbrews from Ontario and Quebec. Not a lot of selection for the food and quite expensive, but on the other hand, the plates look great !! We tried their charcuterie and cheese trio plate ($15), and it went real well with the beers (and a beautiful presentation). A nice balance of bottles and taps. They have a different cask tapped every Thursday. Service at the bar was superbe. Friendly staff and quite cozy. Make sure to make reservations if going for food. The place gets packed quickly.

#4174 Brasseurs du Temps, Les from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
Score: 4.4 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 9 | Value 9 | Service 9 | Overall 8 |
Beautiful brewpub in the old Hull, Quebec. Lots of space (inside and outside - during summer). Right beside a small river and having a beautiful lit bridge, made with a piece from the Eiffel Tower, the outside is gorgeous. The service is quite good and the food is quite interesting, having different meal that we are not use to (had camel burger when I went last). The only thing disappointing are the washrooms. Too small. other than that, quite a nice place to be if you are in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. And their beers are real good.

#4173 Marche Jovi (Marché) from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
Score: 4.2 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 9 | Value 9 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
This convenient store is now called "Marché Omni" but inside, it seems nothing has really changed. The Quebec beer selection is superbe. Loads of glasses to purchase as well. A small walk-in fridge is at the end of the store, but some more coolers are situated on the walls. A great place to purchase singles, to try and rate. Worth the drive to try and find it. One of the best places to try new stuff in the Outaouais region.

#4172 The Beer Store, Orleans, 10th Line Rd. (1675) from Orleans, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.9 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 7 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
This "Beer Store" is a walk-in, serve-yourself store (unlike most "The Beer Store". It is small but has a decent selection and lots of gadgets to buy for bear lovers. The staff is pretty pleasant as well. Lots of parking that is never full and they take back empties.

#4171 Zaphod Beeblebrox from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.9 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 7 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
This a bar I used to go to a lot when I was younger, and still find the time to go from time to time. Most of the bands I have been in, have played there at one point. I have seen many great acts there as well, like Nickelback (before they went commercial), Meat Puppets, Fishbone, etc. The bar staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is dark (not well lit with lots of dark lights). The band play until 11pm and then a DJ always comes on until 2am. A couple of TVs are around playing usually cheesy stuff (or sports). My go-to beer there is Labatt 50 and it comes in quarts as well. Lots of taps are also available. It's a must to go if you are in Ottawa at one point.

#4170 LCBO, Ottawa (Rideau/King Edward - Store 38) from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.1 | Atmosphere 5 | Selection 7 | Value 6 | Service 7 | Overall 6 |
This is a fairly newly built location, replacing the old one which was a few block away from the market. This one being in it, means a lot of homeless drunks are located in front of the store, or come in to by their O.E. Great selection and decent service. A block away from the great LCBO.

#4169 Hooleys Pub from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 4 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 8 | Value 8 | Service 7 | Overall 8 |
This new pub/restaurant on Elgin is quite nice. Spacious inside, with not only tables for the restaurant part, but comfy leather chairs and small two-seater section that are closed off. Big TV's to watch the games and good friendly staff. The only one that was unpleasant was our waitress (but that is a personal fault, not the pub's way to do things). Others asked if everything was alright, as we ate. The fries we had were ok, but had better in a pub. I also had the deep-fried pepperoni which comes with the St. Ambroise 5-grain mustard. That was quite good. Because of the higher sealings, the peoples voices were bouncing all over, which made it quite loud. The music playing was mostly 80's. Many McAuslan products on tap, and some Church Key too. Overall, great atmosphere, and will go back.

#4168 Depanneur Rapido (Dépanneur) from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.9 | Atmosphere 7 | Selection 8 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
Close to L'Autre Oeil Bistro, big convenient store with quite a large selection of macros (Labatt, Sleeman, Molson, InBev) and some micros (Trois Mousquetaire, McAuslan). Found the St. Ambroise Scotch Ale there, which they have just brought back. The walk-in cooler in the back of the store is super long. Prices were actually really good, seemed a buck under par on a six-pack. Not much parking outside, just park on the streets. Quiet location of Aylmer, Quebec.

#4167 Depanneur Chenier & Freres from Hull, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.9 | Atmosphere 7 | Selection 7 | Value 8 | Service 9 | Overall 8 |
This is the first convenient store me and my friends landed at, back in the day when we turned 18, and could not buy alcohol in Ontario. This store seems open until 11pm every night which is the limit time to buy alcohol in Quebec stores. It's beer walk-in cooler is quite large with a good decent size of choices. Easy to find the Unibroues there. Also, Molson, Labatt, Bowes, etc. Not much in the micros, but a great place to find some of the Quebec macros. Prices are also pretty good. Always feels good to go back.
