#1789 Wynkoop Brewing Company / Wynkoop Restaurant and Brewpub from Denver, CO, United States
Score: 4 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 7 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
Wynkoop is a solid destination in Denver. Their food is very good. They normally have good selection of 10-12 beers on with rotating seasonals (bonus for being one of the only places I know that brews gruit). The beers are solid but usually not great. The location is large with pool and shuffle board upstairs - so is a fun hang out place.

#1788 Avery Brewing Company from Boulder, CO, United States
Score: 4.2 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 8 | Value 10 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
Avery's location is in an industrial park. They have a decent sized tasting area though. They had a good selection of beers to sample. When I went, they had a bunch of interesting stuff - a dry-hopped IPA, a couple of other brewery only beers and even Russian River Salvation (they were brewing Collaboration at the time).

#1787 Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery from Boulder, CO, United States
Score: 4.3 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 9 | Value 9 | Service 9 | Overall 8 |
I really like Mountain Sun - I think it is one of the better places to go in Boulder. They have a lot of beers on tap (12-15) with some nitro options. They also have a handful of guest taps. The beers are interesting - plenty of IPAs or Stouts at times with interesting mixes of ingredients. The food is basic but solid. The place definitely has the hippy feel and can be loud and crowded at times.

#1786 Redstone Meadery from Boulder, CO, United States
Score: 3.9 | Atmosphere 7 | Selection 8 | Value 7 | Service 9 | Overall 8 |
This was my first visit to a meadery. They allowed samples of all the different meads, along with explanations of the differences. The staff was very knowledgeable. The meads are good, but a bit on the pricey end compared to beer. The location is on the small side, but they did have live music when I visited.

#1785 Pumphouse Brewery and Restaurant from Longmont, CO, United States
Score: 4 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 6 | Value 8 | Service 9 | Overall 8 |
A nice place to go in Longmont. The beers are good, but not fantastic, and they usually have something interesting on with a couple of seasonal rotating taps. The food is very good, better than most beer locations. The service and atmosphere are both good.

#1784 Falling Rock Tap House from Denver, CO, United States
Score: 4.3 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 10 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
This is the best beer bar in Colorado. They have a ton of taps (70ish) and a couple of cask options. Most of the beers are very unique and interesting. Most of the staff knows their beer but they can get busy at times. The food is pretty basic bar type food, but it's good. One complaint is that menus aren't always up to date so you may miss a new beer or have to order a couple to get one in stock.

#1783 Oskar Blues Grill & Brew from Lyons, CO, United States
Score: 4.1 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 8 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
Oskar Blues is a fun place. They have some wonderful beers (Gordon, Ten Fidy, Dale's). They usually only have about 5 beers on tap, and don't brew specials often. Their food is good. Downstairs they have an arcade and a stage area for live music (blues, bluegrass, etc), and comedy.

#1782 Estes Park Brewery from Estes Park, CO, United States
Score: 2.9 | Atmosphere 4 | Selection 5 | Value 6 | Service 8 | Overall 6 |
Estes Park Brewery is OK. Downstairs they offer free tasters of their beers along with merchandise you can buy. Upstairs is beer and food. The food is pretty typical bar food - nothing special. Their beers are OK. It is one of the better options available in Estes Park though.

#1781 Fort Collins Brewery from Fort Collins, CO, United States
Score: 3.3 | Atmosphere 6 | Selection 7 | Value 7 | Service 7 | Overall 6 |
FCB is samller than Odells and New Belgium (they are planning on moving to a new facility soon though). They do a taster of all their beers for $4, I believe. They usually have a special Tap Club beer on tap which is brewery only. Crowds can be a problem on weekends.

#1780 Odell Brewing Company from Fort Collins, CO, United States
Score: 4.1 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 8 | Value 9 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
Odells is probably my favorite FC brewer now. They usually have a couple small batch brewery only beers on tap (their cask coffee imperial stout is amazing!). They do a good tour and the location has a good feel. For samples, you get their 6 regular beers or 4 small batch beers. I believe the samples were $3 or $4, which can be credited towards a future purchase, or goes to charity. It gets a bit crowded on weekends.
