A must stop if passing through chico, and more than likely worth going out of your way. Take a brewery tour next door and then sit down in the pub/restaurant for a bite and a pint. They do tasters, and will usually (but not always) have an extensive assortment of brewery only selections and one offs. Combined with SNs ever expanding repertoire of bottled beer, and it's pretty much a given there's going to be some good stuff on tap. Pretty decent food menu as well, and I've yet to have bad service. The outdoor "beer garden" is a nice place to enjoy a lunch.

Convinced my parents at the end of a roadtrip to venture by their brewery for a tour. You can obviously tell that they have been doing well because their gift shop and bar were brand new and spared no expense. Most of their brews were on tap and the atmosphere was out of this world. If you have a corporate event in the area, do it here.
