Located in the lower story of a former architectural salvage store, hence the name, The Wrecking Bar is a cozy brewpub that has now managed to hit its stride. I tried several of their beers and found them all enjoyable. Their food is excellent and reasonably priced. They have a private room for a party of a dozen or so, and an inviting sitting area with a sofa and soft chairs in addition to the usual tables, booths and bar. The servers are very helpful and knowledgealable, though I did have to wait a fair bit a couple times for a beer. However, they were rather busy the day I visited. They hope to have more interesting beers in the future, so I hope they make it and become a genuine neighborhood bar. Atlanta needs more good brewpubs!
