The beer pours a translucent copper colour with a generous bubbly light tan coloured head. The head lasts several minutes. The aroma is toasted malt, light caramel, yeast, and musty hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbnation. The flavour is caramel, burnt toast, weak spices, and a nice bitter finish. Not as good as the FestivalAle in my opinion.

#1 Review by Chopz from Cantley, Canada

Pours a clean rich amber colour with a bubbly-frothy warm beige coloured head that goes down slow enough, and leaves foamy lacing. Cereal grain malts in the nose with some fruitiness, mild caramel sweetness and hints of nuttiness. The hops do come out eventually, releasing some grassy notes. The taste is mostly sweet with the caramel malts and some fruitiness blended in. The finish is somewhat bitter with a dry mouthfeel lingering. I find this one a little too rich to have more. Prefer the Lug Tread over this one.
