Clear yellow, white lacing foam head. Typical aroma of a mass produced lesser quality lager. Taste is still bit of OK, but it'ss another country tick. (Galveston 201705)

¡Sandinista! and Bianca Jagger... Pale yellow fizzy beer, bubbly short-lived white head, weak lacing. Watery corn and malt sweetness, very weak grassy hops presence, thin. Nicaragua marked off.

pours a straw yellow in color with a lot of visible carbonation with a white head that gone quickly leaving no lace. The aroma is light corn with a metallic twang and pennies. The taste has some light corn with a little sweetness as well as little lemon. The mouthfeel is pretty good and pretty crisp and fair amount of carbonation. This is really good on a hot sunny day.

Pours a pale yelow color. Smell is of corn and grains. Taste is light, corn, a touch of grain, very mild. Overall this beer was good when I was in Nicaragua a year ago in the heat, not so good back home in PA.

Had this one a few years ago and thought, there's not much difference here between this and Corona or Sol, but Sol is still better amongst the three. A little skunky.

Tona had a decent looking body, straw colored with ample carbonation. Downhill from there though. Aroma of straw, some corn, flavor was similar with a metallic bite. Overall it wasnt very good and i didnt finish it.

A picnic among friends and I bring some foreign lagers to sample. My next contribution was sown the road from Costa Rica in Nicaragua. I liked this one for a pale lager. .It’s smooth. The body is a bright golden yellow. The head, foamy white at pour is weak and settles into a thin soapy lacing. The carbonation is moderate. The aroma is weak. The taste is sweet and a hint of fruit. I’m happy with my contributions so far.

The appearance was fairly nice....a light golden yellow with a thick head and lots of bubbles. Beyond that there was nothing sepecial or outstanding. The aroma was realtively weak but a shade on the skunky side. The taste was quite watery, not offensive in any way, just watered down.

Saw this brew after glancing through a glass cooler door and while I had no high expectations about this one being a jewel, I went a head and picked up the sixer because it was only 6.99. Aroma on this is sweetness and cereal malty with some cardboard aromas. Appearance is a very pale yellow in color with a soapy head on top that is bleach-white and overly carbonated and disappears quickly. Mouthfeel is very watery and very thin with no noticeable complexity nor balance. Flavor follows suit and is very astringent and tastes of cardboard and maybe boiled vegatables with some malty sweetness in the aftertaste is is rather dry on the finish but a beer that is hard to finish simply because the taste is so bad. Overall, not sure how old this six-pack was but it was just like any Latin-American swill out there with tons of maize and adjuncts, not recommended...maybe it would be better with lime, LOL!
