Drank some Overflow Landlocked India Pale Ale
Quite a nice normal IPA, and very nice second brew from this local brewery.

Second Overflow of the night. Can that pours a very lightly hazed golden colour with a tad amber hue. The head is frothy, a little creamy with good retention, slightly warm off-white and leaving some nice creamy waves on the glass. Hoppy nose of grass and citrus over cereal grain and mild caramel malts. The mouthfeel is slick, lightly oily with a good dryness in the finish. The flavours are bitter with grassiness and citrus peel. Quite a decent normal IPA.

Drank some Overflow Roger That Extra Pale Ale
This is quite a nice light ale, with some spiciness from the Pils malts balanced with the cereal grains. Delicious for 4.3% ABV.

Oh yes, I do like this light ale. Biscuit malt with Pilsner malt light spiciness. Yep, this is a taste I really can enjoy for this style of beer. Aromas of mild spicy notes over the cereal grains. Gets slightly hazy, pale yellow colour with a frothy white cap, average stay and a little lacing. Kind of a light Steam Whistle, but on the ale side of things. I like.

Drank some Noctem Oskar KMS Bismarck
A citrus pulpy kind of hazy IPA that goes down nicely.

Pours a hazy yellow colour with a smaller frothy white head, average retention and light foam tiny spots. Orange and lemon zest aromas with a decent blend of the hops showing grassiness and fruitiness. This is the same in the flavours with a mild dry finish. Almost crisp and refreshing. Hints of sweetness from the oats come out in the nose at last pour, and gets cloudier with many particles. Not the juiciest, but a nice hazy IPA.

500 ml bottle, as Harvey's Porter, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 4.8%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of moderately roasted malts, chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth flavour, medium dry, with the same elements as the aroma, a hint of prunes. Noticeable bittering hops.

Cask halfpint at The White Hart (a Harvey’s pub), Crawley. ABV 3.5%. Deep golden color, no head. Minimal aroma. Fairly dry flavour, some tingling fruity and herbal English hops make the beer quite drinkable, but this is not an IPA (neither historical nor modern) by any stretch of the mind.

330ml can in Quebec, under "Heineken - Bière sans alcohol". Clean golden, with some nice tiny bubble carbonation and a creamy head that lasts a while, leaving some creamy lacing. The nose is pretty malty and sweet with notes of honey over the grains. Refreshing, crisp mouthfeel. The taste shows the same as the nose, but at least the sweetness is cut short. This is actually a real nice, drinkable no-alcohol beer that does not seem like one. Well-done.
