Clear pale yellow, white lacing foam head. Barley aroma, typical pilsener taste. Crisp, refreshing. Good beer, although nothing extraordinary about it. Cheers. (Velp 201602)

Bottled (From bierzwerg.de). Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is lemon, some wood as well as fresh grassy hops and some mild saltwatery notes. Also some slight bready maltyness. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild vegetables, quite big on the grassyness as well as mild saltwatery notes. Rather smooth palate. Big grassy and hayish aftertaste. Pleasant Pils.

clear pale golden colour, almost no foam, fresh herbal hoppiness in the nose, medium-bodied, tart, solid bitterness, long bitter herbal and moderately malty aftertaste - a lively, beautiful pils

as I get educated to lagers, I begin to understand the appeal of a great Pils/pilsner more and more. Note, I entered that brew as a lager-there is no section for Pils. Perfect blend of hops and matltz. Continues lacing in glass. Pale straw color, hops on the nose. Bitter finish. A true vollbier Pils. Full bodied pils-Waldhaus is a local delight, when you come to the wehrwolf infested Schwarzwald, seek it out.
