Bottle from sam. Light orange amber pour, nice white head, some lacing. Crisp citrus and fruity hopped aroma and flavor, nice malty undertone, good bitter linger. Crisp, clean. Great name. Thanks Sam.

Nose is minimal and fades fast, whats there is standard. Pours a deepish gold body with a fair head that leaves decent lace. Mouth is OK, could have some more tingle and is medium bodied. Flavor is mild for an IPA but well balanced, alcohol well masked. Hops are a bit perfumy, cloying at first but OK after a while, malt is solid, finish is dry and bitter. A decent sessionable east coast IPA with just a slight medicinal taste. 2/3/2016 more hops bittering and a hint of licorice in the finish.

Comes out of the tap a hazy dark amber with a fine-bubbled pale tan head. Tempting as everything! Rich, hoppy aroma has a malty underpinning and a good fruity note. Generously hoppy flavor has a nice fruity and malty undertone; bitterness is not minimal, but not ferocious either. Got some woody, apple and grapefruit notes in there plus a hint of fresh-cut pine. Body is firm, and fizz is quite lively and persistent. Another must for IPA fanatics!

Has potential, but a bit underperforming. Nothing about this beer is bad, just could use some more flavor and punch to it. Like all of Blue Point's beers I tried so far, this is one smooth puppy. Guess it is more of a spring or summer IPA, if that makes sense. On the clearer side, medium to lighter orange. Hops is a little thin too. Seems like a cross between an IPA and a Pilsner or APA. Will probably pass on this in the future with so many others competing.

A bright amber colored beer with a small soapy textured, white head rising briefly above. A thick ringlet is the saving grace in it’s appearance. It is earthy and floral hops in the nose and in the tasting. A medium bodied, well carbonated beer. A fairly decent india pale ale that was easy to drink. Over all I liked it.

I had this with MdSmith at Racer's Cafe on Harford Road in Parkville, MD. I am REALLY nitpicky on IPAs given that they are my favorite style and given the fact that I have had the best (Smuttynose, Stone, PtY, PtE, etc.). This beer was just average. There was nothing spectacular about it - it was simply a run of the mill IPA - likely a combination of chinook/centennial hop profile. I'm not hating on the beer, I will just likely pass on it in the future. It's simply too ordinary in a class of beer that has a lot of the same.

First off, I must say that I thought I invented this name two years ago. I was sad to see it on a recent trip out east, because it's such a brilliant name. Nevertheless, this hearty IPA pours a BEAUTIFUL bright orange colour with a large fluffhead. Aroma is pretty sweet and floral. Fresh hops and honey also on the nose. Taste is a little sweeter then I would have imagined but wicked nice. Pleasent all around, full hop character and a nice amount of citrus fruits to round out this beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a rather large foamy head with OK retention and no lacing. Aroma of medium bitter hops with some floral notes. Taste is a nice enough mix between some bitter hops with a stronger then expected caramel malt backbone. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation. Not bad though a bit shy on the hops for the style.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is honey, flowery hops. Flavour is the same with the hops being really big. Quite typical IPA still.
