Possibly the cloudiest beer I have ever seen. Pale gold in colour with a huge amount of golden haze. A white ring tops off the beer. Aroma is yeast, citrus, and spices with grass malt. The flavour is dry like a white wine with clove, yeast, and citrus in the mix.

Bottled. Hazy amberish colour with small white head. Aroma of plum and a weak sting of alcohol. Flavour is plum, raisins, malt, yeast and some earthy notes. Wellbalanced and smooth. Alcokick in finish.

01.02.05 750ml bottle from loweredsixth, Thanks Joe! Pours a lightly hazed medium golden with huge, fading, off-white head; sporadic lacing. Aroma is grassy and herbal, parsley, dominated by spice and yeast. Light biscuit flavors, dried apricot, more spice, pepper. Light and effy body. I’d never have guessed this to be 9% until it hit about 52 degrees and the alcohol emerged and knocked my down. The whole character is transformed with temp and gets very spicey and burning and yeast and alcohol take over.

This one is a clear bottle painted opaque white. Body is golden but dull amber. Head is wimpy and short-lived. Streaming bubbles are larger than expected. Aroma is slightly musty and slightly cheese. Flavor is thin. Sweet but not cloying. Both of the Duinen beers were disapointing and lacked drinkability.

Definately liked the dubbel better. Nice citrusy, spice aroma and taste.Good carbonation makes it dance on the tongue.

Very dark and hazy gold with a massive head. Lots of carbonation working in the glass. Aroma of peaches, alcohol and a hint of nutmeg. This starts out very sweet and has apples with bread, cherries and a hint of alcohol. This finishes with a hint of black pepper. After a while, the taste turns a little funky with diacetyl and some moss. Has a medium to full mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Strange how this started so well with the first few drinks and then went downhill.

Aroma is very light and citrusey...seems a little more "processed" than others of the same style. A little more fruity than others as well; of grapes and pears in particular. Appearance is orange, with a large, rocky white head. Mouthfeel is a little too crisp for my tastes, but pretty good otherwise. Flavor is citrusey, with a strong hint of oranges and some lemon notes as well. Finishes dry and sour, but clean. Overall, not a bad beer....just a little too "clean" and "crisp" for my tastes (I guess I have a smooth, sweet tooth).

Clear golden colour with a slim white head. Sweet candy, estery and light fruit aroma, with spices, malt and yeast. Taste is sweet, malty, oranges with noticable alcohol. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Not bad.
