Dynamo Cream Lager is balanced and smooth with the body and flavour of an In 1888, founder JP Barber built the first electrical power station in Georgetown, Ontario – the first of its kind in North America. By damming the Credit River, he created a waterfall to power the turbines that ran the Dynamo. Remnants of the Dynamo and the dam are still visible today. Our dynamo Cream Lager is also the first of its kind in Georgetown and has been referred to as the “craft drinker’s beer.”

The beer pours a translucent light amber colour with a generous off-white head which is gone within 2-3 minutes. The aroma is biscuit malt, earthy hops, light toasted caramel, and teast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, light toast, and weak yeast. Not offensive, but nothing memorable either.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a pretty big frothy off-white head with thick soapy lace and has a pale golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of floral and herbal hops, wheaty, corn and cereal malt. Flavours are mostly cereal malts, corn, a bit grainy, some subtle wheats, a little bit of piney and grassy hops. Slick and dry mouthfeel. A little bit creamy as well. Meh.

Can that pours a clean, well carbonated golden-amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, somewhat creamy, with good retention and some foamy lacing left. Spicy hop nose over the sweet malt base. Smooth mouthfeel, just a tad sticky, on the thicker than thin feel with a mild dry finish to cut the sweetness. Fairly easy to drink for a lager with enough hops to make it more of a micro touch.
