This easy drinking beer is our version of one of our favorite German styles known as Kölsch. This style originated in the city of Cologne Germany and is so light and smooth that many people mistake it for a lager instead of an ale. This beer has great malt balance and flavor from the use of premium pilsner malt combined with a touch of Vienna and wheat malts. We have done a West Coast spin by substituting northwest hops for the typical German nobel hops.
