This is a hybrid beer combining what we love most about red/amber ales and the Kölsch style continental ales from Germany. This beer uses the premium pilsner malts found in our blonde ale with Red-X malt for added flavor, color and complexity. This smooth, medium bodied beer with lots of malt background balances perfectly with the spicy and floral notes from the German hops.
