The beer pours a translucent golden red colour, with a decent sized bubbly light tan coloured head that lasts a maximum of two minutes. The first thing I smell is lemongrass followed by hints of coconut, wet grass, and light musty hop notes. The lemon grass almost gives it a shoe polish kind of nose. Not a good sign if you want me to drink your beer! The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The combination of the lemongrass and coconut give the flavour even more of a furniture / shoe polish note. They don’t meld together at all in this beer.

Well, that is an interesting combination. Hazy golden-amber colour with a bubbly warm cap that dissipates rather quickly, leaving some dirty lace. Aromas of ginger and oranges (citrus notes). The lemongrass hints are part of this as well, and the lime in the end. The coconut is felt more in the taste, like liquid wax. This is helped a bit with the hops, which the lemon grass blend with. Still, something feel unbalanced in all of this. Was hoping for more. Maybe better on tap at the brewpub.
