Our strong scotch ale aged in a third use maple/bourbon barrel for just over a year. Plenty of maltiness complimented nicely by notes of bourbon and maple syrup from the aging process to give a balanced finish.

Taps translucent caramel with a minimal ivory head. Aroma presents sharp pomme, toasted malt and a touch of horehound. Flavor yields toasted malt, caramel, apple and horehound notes. Texture features good body and lively fizz. Drink like a warrior!
