IPA 11 is all about balance! We took Idaho 7 hops, bursting with big tropical fruit notes, and paired it with a favourite: good ol’ citrusy Mosaic. Next we added lactose to balance out all those big hop flavours and give this super flavourful Double Dry-Hopped IPA a silky smooth mouthfeel.

The beer pours a hazed light gold colour with a bubbly snow white cap that lasts a few minutes. Aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit, and light pine dominate the nose with hints of grass and herbal hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. Flavour is very fruity with the passion fruit dominating the citrus. Weak grainy notes in the background with a decently bitter finish.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big frothy white head, leaves some sticky soapy lace behind, has a hazy golden orangey appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of floral and citrus hops, a bit herbal, light vanilla and lactose hints. Flavours are citrusy, herbal, lactose, vanilla hints. Has a smooth silky mouthfeel.

Hazy golden colour with an orange hue. Off-white soapy head, good stay and a foamy ring is left. Grassy green hop aromas balanced with lots of fruitiness and sweetness, including pineapples and other tropical fruits. The taste is also blended with some grassiness and the fruits. The lactose is mild in there. Reminds me of Brasserie du Bas-Canada milkshake IPAs. Just not as good.
