Our Jordan Harbour Belgian Pale Ale is named after the large natural harbour that lies against the south shore of Lake Ontario in the beautiful Twenty Valley. As the mouth of the Twenty Mile Creek, it was once the heart of settlement and industry in the Niagara Peninsula providing an important water route for local goods to be sold across the colonies and beyond. Tall can from the Beer Store. Pours a big frothy off-white head with thick soapy lacing and has a slightly hazy golden orangey coloured appearance. Moderate carbonation. Good retention. Aromas of yeast, citrus and piney hops, some subtle wheat and grassy notes as well. Flavours are mostly pine, citrus, lots of Belgian yeast, some mild wheat and herbal notes. A bit of a drying mouthfeel.

Slightly unfiltered golden colour with a big warm creamy cap, very long lasting with some creamy lacing. Gets hazy at last pour. Belgian beer smell with spices, sweet malts, sugars and low hops. The hops are actually stronger in the taste, which makes the finish dryer, and easier to drink than regular sweet malty Belgian ales. Still, decent spiciness from the spices and some malty sweetness. A nice blend between a Belgian Ale and a milder Pale Ale.
