Poured into glass showing a nice yellow colour, kinda hazy too. Fantastic, full mouthfeel, really round and well balanced. Flavour has yeastiness and malts with some subtle fruity undertones. When I can find it, I will defintely pick it up again.

This is good beer. Very "belgiany"....not americanized like a lot of other belgian ales. Hard to find a good triple in 12 oz. bottles around here. Still, a little pricey, but what do you expect for a good 9% triple? Split the first bottle with a friend, but had my own bottle the next day and enjoyed it more (probably cause I was gettin the full effect of the ABV%). This was almost a year ago. After reading these reviews and reflecting, I will probably buy a 6-pack next time I'm in the mood.

This was fantastic i wish I had another bottle to back this one up. Strong in ABV but you would not know it by drinking it.

This is a beer you can pair with some really nice food instead of Wine. Try this beer with baked brie with a fig reduction(ask me and I will tell you how to make it) serve with apple and pear slice with a nice crusty bread and juniper butter. Very nice!

This began with an overflow of froth as soon as the cap came off, and much of the head was sadly lost before I began the pour. What remained was still lively and a frothy white. The body was a cloudy dark orange, and the aroma was strong with spices and fruits. Taste was rich and somewhat sweet, and the sweetness was replicated in the mouthfeel and finish.

Bottle: Poured a dirty orangey color ale with a nice big foamy head with good retention and some nice lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with a lightly spicy touch is very interesting. Taste is a well balanced mix between some sweet malt with some notes of fruity ester and some lightly spicy notes form the yeast. Great carbonation with a full body and no alcohol was apparent. Very well done and something I wouldn’t mind having regular access to.

Light cider color with very little head or lacing. Only a subtle fruity aroma was present. The flavor was subdued fruits -- pears and apple -- with a dry finish. A good beer paired with food. The mouthfeel was dry and airy with a nice smoothness. Pretty good, but no "wow" factor.

Cloudy dark gold pour, large head with layers upon layers of lacing. Aroma is yeasty, earthy, and pleasantly sweet in a calm way. Slightly flat on the palate, the abv has mellowed and is virtually unnoticed. Thin finish for such a big beer. Many common Tripel characteristics are found in the flavor. Fruity and sweet with a musty malt and grassy earthiness. Not very complex and really mellow. I'm curious as to the age of this bottle, seems like it may have had plenty of time to age and thin down a bit. Not offensive, rather easy to drink for the style.

Aroma is of caramelized sugar as well as maltiness with some musty yeastiness as well as alcohol and some dried, lighter fruits. Appearance is a lighter pale yellow in color with some golden pilsner overtones with a full head on top that is off-white in color and remains on top and is well-carbonated. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with nice, sweet malty complexity as well as balance and the palate is a bit thin but wet-like and coats very nicely and is a bit oily. Flavor is of brown sugar with some good caramelization as well as some light fruity overtones and some yeastiness with an aftertaste that is clean and crisp and very smooth with a finish that is surprisingly light and airy and very good and tasty. Overall, not a bad Tripel here and would pair well with food but isn't the greatest representation of the style in my opinion but worth sampling for sure.

Pours a very attractive, slightly hazy, orangey golden color. It has a thick, frothy two finger head, that leaves behind a solid sheeting of lace. Smell; the smell reminds me a lot of fruitcake, with strong bready and fruit aromas. There's apricots and pears, with a little citrus and candied sugar thrown in. Taste; lots of bread/cake dough flavors with candied sugar mixed in. The fruits are there, but they're a little hard to pick out at first due to a very strong alcohol presence. I get the apricots and pears, with maybe a little raspberries. The taste and drinkability, both take hits due the really strong alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied. I think this beer could be really great if the alcohol wasn't such a huge player in the flavor.
