This year our very own three wise guys; Dougal, Ken and Fergus, came together to brew a festive beer with a difference. Arms laden with Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh they began experimenting and with a little guidance from the Big Guy, Frank & Sense was born.

The beer pours a translucent red-tinged gold colour with a thin white ring for a cap. The aroma is citrus, grains, musty hops, and weak tropical notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very IPA like, hop forward with notes of tropical fruit balanced by a malty grassy sweetness and finishing with a strong hoppy bitterness. Not a lot of ‘spice’ in the beer for me/

500ml bottle that is wrapped up with a label and string. This golden ale pours a golden-amber colour, clean, with a big warm cap, good retention and some nice thick creamy lace. Grassy-sour aromas similar to coriander over the pale malts. The mouthfeel is quite bitter and dry. Wow, quite surprising for Innis & Gunn. Caramel malts and some light spices. This is quite a nice brew overall, if you are into bitterness.
