Our Imperial Pilsner is a modern collision of classic Bohemian and Bock Bier styles. While Bohemian Pilsners tend to be hoppy and dry, Bocks are malty and sweet. The result of this fusion is a very smooth, medium bodied beer with a bouquet of fruit and floral aromas, malty palate and dry, lingering finish.

Date Code is gibberish. The beer pours a hazed light gold colour with a thin off-white film for a head. Quite a bit of microbubble effervescence though. The aroma is quite grainy with a weak herbal hop note. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the grains and the hops. The alcohol is not noticeable, and there are no off-flavours like metal or phenol. Quite good actually. -

Part of their 2018 Canadian Brewpub Pack. Pours a light hazy golden colour with an amber hue. The head is a warm off-white, light beige, frothy, somewhat creamy with a good retention and a nice creamy lace. Malty aromas of pils, grains with mild alcohol and decent hops. The taste is where the pils shines. The balance of hops found in Euro pils is quite pleasant. Alcohol is well-hidden now. A very drinkable Impy Pilsner that would be nice to buy in a 6-pack, from time to time.
