Straight up, refreshing and smooth, this classic lager is the perfect go-to beer. Inspired by traditional German light lagers, we brew with 100% Canadian barley and wheat malt and lagered to perfection. Helles yeah!

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a thin white film for a head. The aroma is grainy malt, light yeast, and noble hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and carbonation is average. The flavour is cereal grains, and herbal hops. A decent Canadian made Helles.

A new beer in the Wellington lineup, German style lagers are always welcome in my book. This beer pours a shiny light gold colour with a little haze, and a foamy white head. Not a lot of head retention though. Nice grainy malt aromas and herbal hops. Typical of the style. This is not a well balanced beer though, more malt forward than a true German Helles.

Can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big foamy white head and has a clear golden appearance. Excessive carbonation. Big soapy lacing. Aromas of grainy malts, corn, barley, herb, grass. Flavours are mostly malted barley, grassy and grainy. Very light sweet notes. A bit of a drying mouthfeel.

Enjoyed at the Loon. Pours a light yellow colour with a white head and decent lace. Cereal grain aromas with light leafy hops. Grassy hops taste with some grainy notes. A decent hoppy Helles lager.
