Made with malted barley and wheat and fermented with Belgian Witbier yeast this unfiltered ale has a uniquely smooth and creamy lightness. A delicate blend of American and European hops gives it an intense fruity/floral aroma and palate but without the aggressive bitterness you would expect from bigger IPAs. Our Welterweight IPA definitely punches above its weight!

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a fairly large frothy creamy white head with great retention. Has a slightly hazy golden orangey appearance. Thick sticky lacing. Strong citrus, floral and wheaty aromas. Flavours are floral and citrus hops, some decent amount of wheaty notes with a bit of a yeasty finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

Hazy light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, average retention and some foamy lacing. Fresh grassy hop smell with citrus notes and nice yeast. The taste has the grassy notes at the start, but being a session IPA, the finish is quite quick. Again, the yeast is nicely balanced, adding some smooth sweetness with the wheat. This year round beer is more than welcomed. A decent session IPA.
