Plum Sour Stout rebels against style boundaries as it opens with a bold fusion of fruitiness and chocolatey roast. Dark fruit flavors then take hold, evoking memories of plum jam and chocolate-covered cherries to bring everything into balance. The result is a light-bodied and refreshingly tart stout that's just plum sour!!

Trying to break out of my Stout, Porter, IPA rut. Time for something new. Here goes. Pours a dark brown color with a voluminous, 2 plus finger tan head that settles to a thin film on top of the beer. Constant bubbles, like champagne. Initial aroma of sour plums and cherries lead into some roasty chocolatey malt. Ample carbonation leads the sour flavors of sour plums and cherries, barnyard funk, tobacco and chocolate. The chocolate becomes more pronounced as the beer warms. Very unique, as the sour and roast blend is successful and it's certainly a beer worth trying.
