2016 Beer Camp Across America Collaboration with Bear Republic, Faction, Mad River, Magnolia, and Maui. West Latitude combines our Californian Left Coast love of fruity hops with a touch of Hawaiian “aloha” from the addition of hibiscus flowers, all anchored by robust malts and spicy rye. Pours clear sepia with a thin buff head. Aroma presents yeasty, rye, earthy and fruity tones with a floral whisper. Flavor features rye, fruity and floral notes riding woody and earthy underpinnings. Mouthfeel delivers decent body and lively fizz, with a rye finish. Changes in latitudes, changes in beer.

Somewhere in between a hoppy amber and not quite an IPA. Has ligher malt content (mostly rye) which gives a clear, clean and crisp feel. Flavors of sweet malt and hops that you would get in an IPA, but without all the floral and piney notes. Another solid collaboration by SN and friends.
