pours a nice coppery color, not much of a head and what there is disappers quickly. had a pleasent taste but i couldn't figure out what the funky after taste was. Over all an ok beer.

sampled on 6/6/11. 12oz bottle. pours a clear copper color. medium/thin head aroma is rather light, bit of caramel. taste is malty, bit of hops. something odd in the taste, cant figure out what it is. body is medium

a little maltier than i like in a pale, but the malt was quite nice. a touch of vanilla and woodsy, with the citrusy hops coming out to play in the finish. underrated, but likely not as good bottled as on tap.

A nice ale from the Mother Lode area of California. Definitely a PNW hopped beer, a copper appearance with minimal head gives way to a fruity aroma. A very balanced beer that's pretty tasty and still hopped a bit. Not bad.

Honey colored pour with a quickly fading head. Nose has a weird butterscotch aroma. Slight hop bite and a strange sweetness come out on the first sip. Dont know what to make of this one.

    Yeesh... this sucks....

Wanted a basic American Pale Ale to go with my dinner of warmed-up chili (with plenty of hot sauce, of course) -- and ended up with a rather flat and boring-as-hell "ale", and I use that term rather loosely....

Dirty-dull brown body, with little in the way of head to speak of. Musty and only vaguely hoppy in the nose. And in the mouth? Flat and lifeless, with only the very-most basic of hoppy elements to speak of, really.

Got this from a very reputable source, that turns over quite a lot of beer, so I have to assume that this beer is fairly fresh. But without any sort of dating on the bottle, it's impossible to say, really.

A beer that has either gone South -- or an inherently faulty recipe. Either way, found this barely finishable..., would have dumped it down the drain if I didn't have it with some food (i.e. the reverse of having a beer washing down mediocore food, I guess).

A possible candidate for a re-review in the future. But with something this lousy, I'm kinda doubting I'll ever want to bother, to be honest....

Lt brown color, medium head. Toasted malts, slightly hopped. “odd” taste, some sweetness. Finish is mild, Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
