Pours opaque dark chocolate brown with a very thick and rather persistent tan head. Aroma contains notes of roast malt, cherry, chocolate and caramel. Flavor strikes a chord of roast malt, chocolate, slightly sour fruit, caramel, and just a snippet of molasses. Texture, though, is the weakest point, not too fizzy and on the watery side. Still, if the mouthfeel is a beer’s weakest point, big fat hairy deal. If you like porters you must-ang try this one!
