http://sweetwaterbrew.com/brews/hash-brown/ Oh me oh my… what did we do? We fired up the skillet to 420°, tossed in a sizzling concoction of 2-row, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Cara-Brown and Midnight Wheat, then added in a hefty dose of hop hash and other dank-ish-ish-ish fixin’s to scatter, smother and cover this baby all the way. Resiny, citrusy hops spice up the rich chocolate and caramel notes the malt brought to the mix, making this platter slide down the counter at 60 IBU’s. Grains: 2-Row, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Cara-Brown, Midnight Wheat Hops: Mandarina Bavaria, Bravo, Hop Hash

Pours clear, luscious chestnut with a thick and bubbly buff head. Aroma has a hoppy overtone supported by notes of toasted malt and caramel. Flavor is hoppy like an IPA, while toast malt, caramel, and subtle semi-sweet chocolate notes provide backup notes. Firm, viscous body has plenty of fizz. What can this brown do for you?

All about the hops here. The base is a medium brown ale. Heavy hops to give added citrus and bitter flavors. Almost like an IPA. Slightly above average feel. Cloudy medium brown appearance with light mocha colored head. One of the better ones from Sweetwater.

A murky reddish-brown colored beer with a big frothy textured beige colored head rising above, There’s excellant hang time on the head. A thick cap is long lived here. Nose of hops and caramel. A blending of nuttiness, caramel, citric hops and lighter notes of chocolate. Medium bodied.
