Our version of the West Coast Style IPA first brewed in collaboration with Amager Brewery in Denmark. Brewed with one malt, Golden Promise from the UK, with Citra and Mosaic hops. If you think Todd is a good brewer, you should hear him play his axe (guitar)! Named by Amager’s marketing director Henrik Papsø.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy snow-white head. Aroma presents resiny hops, funk, tart and tangy grapefruit, tropical sweetness, fresh malt. Flavor yields bitter and funky piney hops, tart grapefruit, tangy and juicy tangerine, sweet mango, fresh malt. Texture offers fair body and perky fizz. Chop chop.

On tap at Tribes Alehouse. Pours a slightly cloudy golden amber color with a small white head. Aromas of grapefruit, passionfruit, pineapple, mango and dank hops on the nose. Taste follows the aromas with lots of tropical and citrus fruit flavors on top of firm malt body. Pretty impressive stuff. There seems to be a lot of hype about this beer and I can attest that it is all warranted. The combination of Citra and Mosaic hops is magical and must be tried to be believed. A bit reminiscent of their Abrasive Ale. I need to try this again. Surly does it again!
