Pours a clear light golden yellow color with large white head that hangs around for a while. The aroma is fruity (apple & pear). The taste is malty with some fruit and caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and medium carbonation

Can. Colour - straw, white head, , pretty clear, lively bubbles. Aroma - weak herbal hops, grass, a little hint of yeast. Mouthfeel - thin, too much carbonation. Flavour - grass, weak citrus from the hops, a little spiciness. Coming from the Rolling Rock facility, it's not bad.

Bought this beer only because of the Guinness name. Wasn't expecting much and that's what I got. This is only slightly above most American style largers. Maybe one or two more hops added.

So use to the nitro cans. Nope. Clean, light golden-amber colour, creamy-foamy head, decent retention and a little lace. Sweet fruity aromas with notes of apples and pears. The taste is malty, but also has these fruity notes with the only difference being the hops in the finish. Some caramel does come out. A little dry as it lingers. The mouthfeel is still pretty creamy. Not bad at all, but not something I could drink a lot of.

A recent find at the liquor store. In most cases it is nice to see a brand expand its' lineup, but in the case of Guinness and brewing some of these new additions outside of Ireland, not such a great idea. Everything about this beer screams 'pale lager' from the light gold colour with the white head, the acidic grainy aroma, to the metallic grainy taste. Is this a result of brewing in a macro pale lager system, or just a bad recipe? Who knows, but not worth spending your money on.

The beer pours a translucent golden-orange with a generous white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is cereal malt, earthy hops, and hint of light citrus. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is weak with notes of cereal grains and light citrus. Better than a macro lager by several football fields...but still not anywhere close to craft lager territory.

Pours clear golden with an OK white head. Crisp, malty aroma is typical of a lager, but still inviting. Malty flavor has a hint of fruit, fairly crisp, ordinary but OK. Texture is fairly firm and has good fizz. Not too shabby - good with a meal.

Pours a big foamy bubbly white head and has a clear golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of wheats, grains and sweet malts. Flavours are mild hop notes, quite wheaty and malty, also some notes of grassy hops and hints of honey. Good retention. Slick sensation on the palate. Smooth mouthfeel. Not bad.

A dark golden-copper colored beer with a big sudsy textured off white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A thick persistent cap, ringlet and splotches of film are left. Grainy, grassy nose. The tasting on the sweet side, more caramel than not. A blance of grassinss Moderate bodied.

I picked this up from the Kroger in Salem, VA. This was actually a nice beer. I thought it was a citrusy lager and a nice attempt from Guinness. Clean and clear in presentation, smells of grass and hops. I'd have this again.
