Kentucky Peach Barrel Wheat Ale is a light, crisp ale perfect for lazy, sun-drenched summer days. Images of your real (or fanciful) old Kentucky home in bourbon country are conjured up with every sip, thanks to the brew’s six-week aging period in fresh Kentucky bourbon barrels. Our barrel-aging process balances hints of caramel and vanilla and subtle cereal notes with the juiciness of a fresh ripe peach, creating a golden color. Enjoy this light-bodied, refreshing offering before the bright rays of summer fade into fall.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a thin and not persistent ivory head. Sweet peach dominates the tempting aroma, which has a nice wheat underpinning. Flavor has peach and wheat notes, not strong but refreshing - this would be great on a steamy summer day, but it’s fine in cold weather too. Texture is more cider-like than beer-like, somewhat firm but barely fizzy. If not a great beer, one worthy of a fair taste.

This is a unique brew. Kind of like part wine cooler, or part mead...offset by a lighter wheat ale. Fermented well at 8% and aged with bourbon, so there is definitely a lot of flavor there with the peaches and all. A little pricey for the overall rating, but worth the try for sure....something that I may even get again if the 4-pack price is right.

Wow this is good as soon as you open it you can smell fresh peach not artificial. It pours out clear gold color. The aroma is all peach and smells great. The taste is not sweet and it's very clean and well balanced with the wheat and malt.

Pours super clear light yellow gold color with a bubbly white head, no lacing. The aroma has tons and tons of peach, wheat, a little earthy grainy hints. The taste has a blast of peach everywhere, slightly artificial but still good. Creamy sweet malt and wheat. Think cream of wheat with peach. A light woody hint at the end. The mouth feel there is no way you'd sense that this beer is 8%, sneaks up fast, super clean finish.

A bright orange sunshine in color. Lots of bubbles in that body. A frothy textured, white head ruses above. There's some hang time on that head. It settles into a well defined ringlet and persistent cap. In nose I get peaches. In tasting I get peaches. Light bodied but a wheat like creaminess.
