Sampled at one of the National Capital Craft Beer Week Sessions @ Arrow and Loon/ Fifth Ave. Arts Court. Pours a thin coating of foamy head and has a golden amber appearance. Aromas of roasted malts, caramel and sort of sweet, breads. Caramel and toffee flavours. Mainly herbal hops and hints of honey added to the mix. Some faint hints of brown sugar in the finish. Fairly strong and bitter mouthfeel but blended well with hops. Not too bad.
