Welcome to Shangri-La. Ananda is the ancient Sanskrit word for bliss & this dry hopped, juicy beer is our version of just that! Malted & flaked wheat create a velvety texture just before the citrus hop notes explode into pure nirvana. Meditation of sophistication.

Pours clear canary with a thick and persistent snowy head. Aroma yields zesty resiny hops, fresh malt, tangy citrus, a hint of hay. Flavor features piney, bitter hops plus grapefruit, orange and fresh malt. Texture provides decent body, perky fizz, and a bitter fresh-cut evergreen finish. Ananda one ananda two, drink - but responsibly, please.

These beers have been recently distributed here in Central FL. Saw it on sale at Total Wine & More, so was a little curious. Then saw it in clearance ...figured I’d try a couple of their singles for cheap (IPA and Pilsner). The flavor is there (though not that bold)...but the off-balance is what destroys this beer. May not have been that fresh which could have affected the rating somewhat. Though, I can’t really seeing this having much potential. We shall see how the pilsner is soon.

Clear darker orange, small off-white foam head. PLastic cup, so hard to tell whether this is lacing. Nice taste, good beer and great aftertste. (Memphis 201505)

Shared a can with Big Hop Andy. Amber pour with a tall tight white head. Tons of lacing. Big tropical hops nose right away - pineapple, peaches, citrus zest - then a dose of malt sweetness to calm all of that hops shit down a bit. Big bold and flavorful, very nice bitter linger. Maybe the best IPA brewed in Tennessee? Will have to try more to come to that conclusion. For now though - Love it.
