The Red Hot Mama from Yakima was one bad *itch, running through farmers like they were her personal toys. She especially had her way with our old buddy Vinny from Van Horn Farms and left him drained in the field as she hitched her way out of town with a dress foll of fresh hops. This Red Hot Mama was not one to mess with. She hooked up with a Harley gang, and made her way down to Atlanta looking for a soul to steal. She met her match with El Danko, and the two of them got nasty in the brewhouse together. Clothes and hops were flying all over the place. The load of fresh Centennial hops was dropped, and Head Brewer Nick Nock scrambled to use 'em as they smelled extra dank! After hosing off, El Danko showed her the door. He knew he didn't have enough left in him for another round. Ride on, Red Hot Mama! Girl, you sure look good to me!

Big ass beer for an amber. Copper pour, tall white head, nice lacing. Earthy hops and caramel malts upfront, piney and more caramel malts, then a hint of tin and nuts. Nice bitter linger. Better as it warms, mellowing a bit. "My baby's red hot, your girl ain't doodly squat!"

My first stab at something new in the Brass Tap today. A deep mahogany blackness in color. A small two fingered sudsy textured light beige head rises briefly above. A thin ringlet is left behind. The orange peel dominates in the nose and on the palate. In tasting even the bready-caramel malt doesn't mute the acerbic orange peel. Rather unpleasant in this light, effervescent brew.

Darkish brick red color. Hop heavy, but with plenty of malt to back it up. Earthy. lightly floral and piney, caramel and a hint of sweetness and roast to offset the bitter. Pretty nice, and easy at 8+%.

Pours a nice clear sienna with a thick and rather persistent buff head. Malty aroma has a strong hoppy and woody overtone, more like an IPA. Flavor fills the mouth with woody hops, fresh malt, resin and earthy notes. Watch out, ol' Red Hot Mama will sneak up on ya! Some sips have a whisper of caramel, varnish or even cloves. Texture is quite firm and somewhat fizzy. Get dank in this tank, y'all.
