Can. Colour - clear rust colour, thin creamy white head, decent lacing. Aroma - light caramel, light cereal, citrus, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, slightly over carbonated. Flavour - mild toasty caramel notes, some bready notes, and a weak citrus hop finish.

From the files of ‘what the hell we’re they thinking’ comes this beer that was better left in the mind of the person that concocted it. It pours a translucent rust colour with no head. Lots of caramel in the aroma, but no citrus. Flavour is more sweet than I would like, mainly because there is no bitter hop finish to balance it out.

The beer pours a translucent copper colour with a generous light tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is weak citrus, light toffee, and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is nicely balanced between some grapefruit and caramel notes. This would be a decent session beer

Thanks to Chopz for the trade off! Pours a small foamy light brown head and has an amber appearance. Thin patchy lacing. Quite a variety of malty, hoppy aromas. Light earthy and roasted malts and some light hops. Hints of caramel in the mix. Medium retention. Pretty smooth mouthfeel and has a mild warming sensation. Pretty good beer coming from Moosehead brewery.

Moosehead's version of a beer attacking the micro market. Clean amber, foamy warm cap, good retention and lots of soapy lace. Quite malty smelling with some caramel, fruity notes and a decent amount of grassy hops. The taste starts sweet with the caramel malts, but dies down quickly heading into a hoppy dry finish. Overall, not as hoppy as expected as they list a book of hops used in this one, on their box info. It does follow the description nicely and is much better than most Moosehead beer. They do not either shy away from showing that this is one of their products.

Can - Pours an a clear amber with a 2 finger rocky cap - modest retention but it laces the glass. Aroma is fruity, citrus, earthy, leafy in tow with caramel malts and a bit of toastiness - decent aroma for a filtered beer. Flavour is a pleasant balance between the hop mix - grapefruit, mango, herbal and earthy bitter and the malt mix - toasty, caramel, bready - nice balance, sna smooth drinking. Finishes with a light pleasing bitterness. If I didn’t know who made this I’d think it was a start up craft brew op - decent.
