Borders. We’ve crossed into uncharted territory with our newest release, El Steinber. In our somewhat unusual take on the style, we add Midnight Wheat malt to give this lager its dark brown color and roasted Indio-Hispano blue corn to lighten the body and create a unique, toasty flavor. German pilsner malt and Saaz hops round out this beer producing a crisp, clean finish and smooth drinkability that is perfect for any occasion.

    12oz can -

The beer pours out a dark cola-brown body withe a sturdy khaki cap with nice staying power. Aroma is light caramel, coca-cola, and mineral water. A touch of berry juice on the palate, light caramel and chocolate present too...some earthy notes round out the profile. Not bad at all.

A dark reddish tinged brown ale with a big frothy textured beige tinted white head rising robustly above. Great hang time on the head. Settles eventually into a persistent cap. Persistent malty and grassy earthiness in the profile. Some nuttiness in the tasting to boot. Light bodied.

Low level roast dominates the nose, with light bread, fruit. Looks good, big off white head. Body is avg. A bit thin as expected. Flavor pleasant...roasted malt, light fruit, dry finish. Mellow and easy drinking.

Robust, malty aroma has fruity and hay undertones and a hint of - peppers? It pours a dark and semi-transparent chestnut brown with a fairly thick and foamy wheat head. Flavor has malty, hay, caramel and subtle apple juice tones and some smoky hints. Smooth texture is firm and fairly fizzy, leaving a malty and fruity finish with a hoppy hay overtone. Mas than what I expect from a lager - muy bueno!
