A FoamDome contribution: golden pour, tall tight white head, ample lacing. Nice tropical and light floral hops, caramel, citrus in the aroma. Nice balance with the hops and the malts with the flavor, tropical with peaches and some sweet citrus, nice malt sweetness. Very nice. Thanks Dave!

Pours gold with huge amounts of head. Lacing was thick and stuck to the glass. Aroma was flowers, hops, little malts and fresh fruits. Tastes big flowery hops. Little bitter with a pleasant after taste.

Darker gold than the lager and a longer lasting, bone-white head. The aroma surprises me. This is hop dominant. Since when are golden ales hoppy? Apricot, amarillo-like hops. Really more of an IPA than a golden ale. A surprise.

This amber ale poured a nice gold color. It is finished off with a small white head of foam. The foam stayed a spell but is soon replace with a nice sticky lace. The aroma in this ale was unreal. This is my first beer with a bread/dough aroma to it. It was a pleasant surprise and not to overpowering. The taste was a sweet start to a nice malt background. The bread/dough aroma turned to flavor, is absorbed by the taste buds. Nicely balanced flavor with the malts and hops. I could enjoy this beer through out the night. Nice and clean in look, aroma and taste.

Pours with a orange-gold body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. Slightly sweet and malty with notes of tea and a touch of fruit. Light to medium bodied, slightly dry and smooth.

Grabbed a few things at the store today after work, mostly to carry back with me to San Diego at the end of the week. But since this was already cold, I cracked it open after polishing off some Carl's Jr.

I think even if my palate was perfectly clear, there wouldn't be a whole lot I could say that'd be very positive, really. In fact, I'm guessing that putting down a greasy burger before this may have improved it's palatablity a notch or two (or maybe not...!).

Basically, this is a rather astrigent and acidic mess of a beer. A bit too spritzy in the carbonation, so it's filling and raher bloating. But while I'm all about beers that try to have something to say for themselves, this beer's mouthfeel just goes a bit too far a'field IMO.

And the taste? Reminds me of stale orange juice, to be honest. Ditto for the aroma. Yes, it has a fair amount of IBU's in the mix, but I think that both the hop variety and the rather lacking malt profile doesn't do this beer any favors.

Not truly horrible, but nothing that I would have interest in trying out again. Back to the drawing board with this beer, IMHO.

Large white head that fades to a thin scum. Slightly cloudy deep golden color with lots of carbonation. Aroma of oranges with bread. Simple but pleasant. the taste has some bread crust along with grapefruit. A light tasting yet, full bodied brew. A slightly sticky mouthfeel. Very nice.

Poured a golden color with a small, white head, that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet popcorn, diactyl, and caramel malts. Taste was buttery, caramel, and toffee, with along lingering bitterness. Overall too buttery and not hoppiness of an IPA for me.
