A black ale spawned from the usually discarded remnants of Darkness. Flavors of roasted malt and dark brown sugar suffocated by aromas of tangerine and pine. Dry-hopped with Glacier and Chinook.

Nearly black pour with a quickly fading tan head. Citrus and piney hop aromas along with roasted, chocolate malt. Flavor is much the same with the hops just edging out the malt. Described as the "son of Darkness", this was a little disappointing as it doesn't come close to how great Darkness is nor can it hold up to any of Surly's IPAs.
