Purchased from the brewery. Pours a hazy copper colour with a small bubbly tan head. Head doesn’t last and leaves no lace. Mild sweet floral aroma. Subdued flavour of caramel, some spice and hop bitterness . Thin mouthfeel.

Bottle from From the brewery, this is a wet hop 80/- made with fresh harvested hops from a local source. Pours a murky amber-red with a 1 finger tight sticky cap. Modest carbonation. Aroma is very pleasant – a perfect balance between rich toasty-sweet malts and fresh floral hops. Flavour is what one would expect from a wet hopped ale coupled with a scots wee heavy – Rich chewy malts in front with balance from floral/resinous herbaceous hop bittering from green cones. As this finishes the hops dominate making the long wet finish pleasingly bitter. A nice mix of malts and choice of fresh hops make this unfiltered ale a very drinkable with tons of flavour.
