Sampled on tap at Alesmith on 3/20/2014. This Imperial Stout pours a deep black color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and sweet. A medium to full bodied Imperial Stout. The malts are roasty, coffee, chocolate and dark fruit. The hops are herbal and earthy. Mild carbonation. Nice sweet coffee flavors. Nice balance between the coffee, malts and hops. Hides the alcohol VERY well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This Speedway takes a tiny step backwards from the awesomenes that is Speedway stout. Just a touch too sweet with the amount of vietnamese coffee that goes into it, and the bitterness is like that of a young coffee bean. But seriously, I;m nitpicking. This beer is still the bomb.
