Howling Wolf Weisse Bier is an unfiltered Bavarian-style Hefeweizen. Brewed with a hearty amount of wheat, this Weissbier pours a light clouded golden color with a generous head. Gently hopped to balance the malt sweetness, Howling Wolf’s flavors and aromas are subtle with a hint of fruit and spice. At 5% alcohol by volume, this light-bodied ale is a refreshing session beer for any time of year.

Pours a hazy dark yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass. The aroma is sweet musty malts with bananas and cloves and some acidity and citric fruits. The taste is sweet malts with a little citric fruit and some earthy yeast and an acidic dry finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

pleasantly yeasty yet light in body and color. nothing that blows you away but the banana spicy. had an older 25 ouncer of the weizenbock next to a 12 ouncer of the hefe of the same name (and nearly same label). yeast is nice, and it's quite refreshing.
