pretty good for a pale lager...but still a pale lager. taste is a touch malty and slightly sweet...not as skunky as some, but can have a touch of it, or it can be refreshing.

What can I say, its a Pale Ale. It looks like one, it smells like one and it tastes like one. But in a warm Dubai that is OK, and it comes from far away, so who cares. (Dubai 201409)

pours a nice golden yellow with a nice white head that hung around for a while. it had a nice aroma of malt which turns into a slightly shunky smell. The beer was sweet and slightly hoppy over all a nicely balanced well refreshing Pilsner.

A bright golden colored beer. A moderate frothy textured, white head rises briefly above. Settles into a thick ringlet and light dusting of film. The nose is stronger than the taste which is a switch. Grassy grains led some skunkiness to the nose. The taste is impacted, it seems by the body and is watered down sweet corn. Bot as offensive as the American macrobrews, but, I'm glad I only have one of these.

It's been a long time. 25 years ago this was my #1 beer. Didnt expect much out of it. But to my suprize it wasnt bad. Poured a grassy yellow with a thick white head. Sweet, and slightly hoppy. Not a bad balance. Overall not a bad lager.

Funky, skunky, nasty... WTF!? Far too carbonated with the grassy smell of "adjuncts"... no head, no lacing, crappy taste, grassy aroma - a waste of time and money.

Pours clear yellow with airy head & minimal lacing. Aroma has some grainy notes overwhelmed by skunkiness. The flavor is equally skunky and none too good. Thin, watery mouthfeel & overcarbonated. Glad I got this one free, that's for sure.

Pale gold / dull brown crystal clear look a decent sized white cap for a lager floats on top. Dark pungent power skunk aroma that effects all air within a five foot radius of my glass. This smell is mildly turning my stomach. Ok this description of the taste seems horrid but I mean it in the best way possible, rotten apple dipped in used coffee grounds with a sweet metallic and or bloody nose finish. Oh gawd hope Jeff and Leah don’t realize I just farted as they talk 3 feet away. Beer is drinkable but why bother.

"Pick-A-Six" Time. #1: Steinlager. Aroma is little skunky but bearable, Nice carbonation , Little white head , Goes down surprisingly smooth, Aftertaste is nice, Nice mouth feel, Tastes a little too skunky but not as bad as Heineken. This is a surprisingly good beer, Blows Heineken out of the water. Nice for the style.
