Clear ruby with off-white foam head lacing to the glass. Aroma is orange, is this realy a beer?. Taste is sweet fruity. Little or no aftertaste at all. (Bucharest 201208)

    500ml can -

First, a big thank you goes out to my buddy Brian for bringing me this back on his last trip to Romania. Those poor souls in Romania...ugh..some of the beers he's brought back were good and others were just plain awful. This one was all that bad though. It suprised me with the level of hops that was found, with a bit of spicy hop note. The beer seemed overly attenuated, with a dry, chemical-like aftertaste. Almost no malt character, esp for a dunkel. Maybe the 7% comes from the extra sweetness that should be there? The beer looked like rusty rain water in my glass with a light tan frothy head.
