At the BrewPub in Lawrence, a much-needed oasis on the drive from Colorado to Wisconsin. Pours a hazy deep yellow with a thin white head and light lacing. A spice and citrus nose with a crisp, fresh mouthfeel. Flavors evolve into a big rush of spice - lemon-grass & ginger - with a pleasant hop bitterness. A very inventive chef here as well; - I enjoyed a Caribbean Callaloo made with coconut milk and kale. Both beer and food were delicious. MUSIC: “Tangerine” – Led Zeppelin
