473m can, part of a gifted Summer Sampler 6-pack. Foggy pour of dark gold, and a head that vanished within seconds, leaving a scummy ring. Needless to say, carbonation was nil. Odd aroma, guess it was some variety of tea. Mouthfeel just average. Flavour maybe had a lemon characteristic, and tea. Tart finish. Refreshing enough, but I'd rather not have this one again.

From can, poured a fairly average amount of foamy head and goes away not long after and leaves a thin layer. Has a pretty cloudy, hazy amber appearance. Aromas of breads, toast, mild citrus, moslty lemon and a bit of spices. Flavours are comprised of a sweet and bitter lemon tang base along with the light tea flavour, most likely orange pekoe. Also some notes of resin type hops and spices with hints of breads, grains and nuts. Medium bodied with a slick creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat bitter and also has that tangy aftertaste. Pretty good light, easy drinking beer. Perfect in the summer.

A sweet, lemony aroma. Pours a translucent gold colour. Thin head that dissipated quickly. Better than expected. Definitely a pleasant drinking beer. Would likely have again.

This is a damn fine concoction from the brewery in the distillery district. It pours a clear a gold colour with a very small white head for a canned beer. Cereal, honey, lemon, and tea come through the nose. Very reassuring beer. Malty flavour backed by hints of tea and honey, with a bitter finish.

Enjoyed at the 2010 Bluesfest in Ottawa (as Mill Street is the one that got the contract this year). The beer is slightly hazy with a caramel-looking colour. Nice creamy head that is white and stays a while. Aromas of light tea with the citrus and hints of mint even. Medium-bodied with a nice crispiness to it. Grainy malt taste with the lemon zest. I did not know what to expect of this one, but I must say... it is quite a nice achievement. I really enjoyed this one in the heat of Bluesfest.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep golden color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of orange and tea is more dominant then expected and very unique. Taste is quite intense with lots of notes of tea and orange with a bland malt bill. Body is slightly fuller then I would have expected with good carbonation. I must admit that this was a more intense experience then I was expecting and even now I am not sure if I would want to try this often thought I wouldn't say this was a bad beer.

The beer poured a translucent honey-gold colour into the glass with orange hues and a 1" thick foamy head. The aroma is lemon, tea, and some grainy malt tones. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was bitter tea, citrus, and some malt balance.

On tap: Puts a hazy tea-colored amber (orange pekoe) ale in the glass, 1 finger tight pored cap that goes to a surface-clinging lace. Soft carbonation. Aroma changes as it warms from cold wherr I got: yeasty-earthy-sweet, then burnt toffee with grassy-herbal notes then caramel with herbs. Modest body, gritty puckering tart-dry character. In front you get a nice mix of toffee malt, citrus and leafy grassy hop balance, moving toward the clean, lightly bittering finish, it turns dry and tart with the hops and tea tannins piggy backing to give a lovely puckering tea-like bittering. Really a nice refreshing summer beer...enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
