We're excited to introduce the second beer in our new Unchained Series: 90/- Scottish Style Ale brewed with heather. This hearty brew will have a rich mahogany color, caramel notes, and a hint of herbal flavor. A pretty nice brew I picked up while in Hudson a couple weekends ago. Pours a misleadingly translucent dark amber. You think you'll be seeing through it but it gets darker toward the top. Aroma is smokey for sure. Caramel malt, spices on the palate. Taste is rich no doubt. Super smooth. enlightening. passive. delightful.

Pours a deep brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is sweet--caramel and malt with some earthy notes. Taste is much like the aroma but becomes too sweet for my liking as the beer warms. Ok, but not nearly as good as the Kolsch in Summit's Unchained Series.
